Pueblo Union Depot
Pueblo, Colorado
Behind this historic 1889 Pueblo Union Depot are several tracks in the coach yard with additional trackage running to the northwest. The trackage is used to store vintage equipment for display and for operations. The five railroads which served Pueblo are the Denver & Rio Grande Western, the Santa Fe, Colorado & Southern (part of the Burlington Route, the Missouri Pacific, and the Colorado & Wyoming. Opposite Pueblo Union Depot, indoor exhibits are found at the old freight depot of the Southeastern Colorado Heritage Center. The railoroad complex is home to the Sante Fe 2912, one of the few remaining examples of 4-8-4 "Northern"-type steam locomotive.
