Union Pacific Railway Station

This Union Pacific Railway Station was built in 1923 and restored by the City of Washington in 2000. Four Amtrak trains currently utilize the premises. The building is divided into four sections. The Washington United Way and the Gallery of the Mid-Missouri Fine Arts Society share this newly renovated station with the Visitor Center (staffed by the Washington Chamber of Commerce) and the Waiting Room for Amtrak passengers. Wall hangings and glass cases display railroad memorabilia to the public.
